Unique, exclusive, creative

The Melbourne Collective Design Markets are a collection of local designers and creatives showcasing their products and selling their wares to the Melbourne community.  Join us for one BIG day of shopping, music and great food and support local, support small business.

'The Melbourne creative scene is  bursting with talent. It's so important for emerging designers to have a reputable platform, to showcase their wares in a highly curated yet beautiful space and be encouraged to share their artistic endeavours with the world, to be discovered on a national scale. This event is an essential part of that journey.' Julia Green,  Greenhouse Interiors

5 Questions with LC Skincare

1. What is the story behind your business name?

Pure and simple. The letters LC are my initials.

2. What was your inspiration to start your own business?

LC Skin Care was developed with a genuine passion for treating skin concerns with natural, active ingredients. Inspired by and attentive to the needs of client's skin, I created a professional skin care range that consists of high quality active ingredients that are certified organic, 100% vegan, animal cruelty free and manufactured in Australia. Working as a professional skin therapist for the past two decades, and also as a trainer within the beauty industry, my priority is to educate clients on maintaining a skin care regime, both pre and post treatment to prolong and enhance results. Used professionally in salon to treat individual skin concerns I wanted to offer wider access to my skin care range that delivers great results and gorgeous looking skin.

3. What does your workplace look like?

My workplace is inside beauty schools and beauty salons.

4. Best thing about your job?

Building trusting relationships with clients, educating students to achieve their dream of becoming competent therapists, helping people look their best and feel great about themselves, educating clients on the correct use of skin care products, addressing individual skin concerns and treating them accordingly. And last but not least when clients say "thank you" for helping them achieve their skin goal.

5. Best advice you could give other creatives who would like to start their own business.

You must be passionate. Drive your passion and focus on it.
